All by myself

Lately, I've been just so anxious for things in my life to get started. I graduated in May, not having a clue what I was going to do with my degree. I'm not sure I even want to do anything with my degree in Spanish at all. I started staying with Ethan's family so I could find a job in Massachusetts and we could get our own apartment. I have been on countless job interviews and finally got a seasonal job working as a receptionist for a tax firm. I get all the crappy shifts too. Nights and weekends, 7 days a week. Its pretty miserable out there in Jobland and since there was delay with Ethan's employment, we still have no apartment. Boo.

Thank goodness Ethan started his new job today, but now I'm left here alone with a stupid head cold and to add insult to injury, its freaking snowing outside again. Idiot me decided it would be a fantastic idea to run outside with no jacket on. I really just wanted to share the sweater that I found at a thrift store. It reminds me of a pattern on a rug. I also found some other fantastic goodies including a vintage cashmere and fur coat, some cute slingback heels, navy high waisted trouser pants, and an adorable tarnished silver trivet. I'm thinking of opening up my own Etsy store. I've got loads of free time on my hands. Thoughts, should I do it?

  1. That sweater is really pretty!

You should try opening a shop... esp since you don't have a full time job right now. Maybe you could turn it into your full time job :)

  3. its like 55 here, and you're getting snow wow. well, it is pretty, I have no idea what to wear in this super warm weather haha

good luck on the job front that does suck, but at least you didn't throw yourself into a whole career track when you're unsure of what you really want. at least your current job won't be all consuming

  4. The world could always use more etsy shops! Also, both will promote each other in essence (from what I've seen of internet life).

  5. i love your sweater. i wish we would of got some snow like that! i'm actually quite envious of your free time. You should definitely open an etsy shop and start thrifting more for the store. if you take it seriously it could possibly turn into your full time job! :)

  8. thanks for your advice on my roommate. I do get along with my RA and believe me I have seriously thought about moving out before, but there's so much at stake. we divided our room up evenly so I dunno who would get the TV, rug, pots and pans etc. And also she is friends with a lot of my friends and I don't want them to have to pick sides, because chances are they would take her side. I know this means they aren't that great of friends, but I still do not want to totally alienate myself.

It took me five months to find a job and I'm totally not content. What to do, what to do...
