Absent Minded Professor

I'm so excited to show off another one of my grandmother's blouses. I inherited a few tops a couple Christmases ago and just love the sheer gorgeousness they all possess. This one has a cute bow tie and embroidery down the front. They just don't seem to make clothing the way they used to. This shirt is so delicate, but has lasted for over 60 years. It just blows my mind.

Another thing that blows my mind are rubber neckers. I'm just in the park minding my own business, taking some photos to share with you all, and I have the grounds crew staring me down! Geez! Take a picture, it will last longer...oh wait that is exactly what I am doing. I got so self conscious that I took my pictures and ran without even overlooking them. And of course I get home to upload them and my blouse is half untucked. What the heck? MYOB people. Seriously.

Outfit Details: Blouse...Gram's, Shorts... DIY, Socks...Target, Shoes...Thrifted, Leather Backpack...Going in my Etsy!

Also if you weren't already aware, I just started my own etsy Rosemud Vintage, be sure to check all the new goodies!

  1. I hate it when people swear. you're much braver than me though, you actually took pictures! :) I usually end up taking pictures of the scenery. Haha.

  2. That blouse is gorgeous. So lucky to have inherited it.

OH, I feel your pain. People love to stop and watch while Cole takes my photo. Maybe they think I'm someone important, or maybe they're just incredibly nosy. Either way I hate it.

  3. Ugh, I do understand about the unwanted onlookers, but I'm so happy you pushed through so you could share this marvelous outfit- the blouse is beautiful (Items inherited from gma's are the best!) and I love those glasses, very cool.

  9. Story of my life, i can't get away with taking one picture without someone gawking at me. And it's usually a dirty old man that makes some snide comment to my boyfriend like, "good job" or "she's much better looking than you are." It creeps me out but you gotta do what you gotta do! This backpack is so amazing and obviously your grandma had amazing taste.
