Wish I was there.

Starr from A Thought is the Blossom had the wonderful idea of doing a few posts on Coachella festival style and talked about what she is excited to wear to Bonnaroo. Being from the Northeast(somebody correct me if I'm wrong), we totally lack cool laid-back festivals with amazing bands, so I decided to go ahead and dress as if I were going to Coachella.

So take that, I do what I want! Stupid New England, we only have Tanglewood which are festivals for old people(well I would go to the James Taylor concert, but its sold out and my Mom likes him so it counts as an old people concert). Okay I've ranted enough here is what I would wear and did wear yesterday, but not to a festival...

Outfit Details: Top... American Outfitters, Shorts & Belt...thrifted, Purse...Levi's, Headscarf... Vintage Liberty Of London, Sunglasses...H&M, Cowboy Mule Shoe...Thrifted

  2. Thinking about Coachella hurts a little bit every time- I am determined to go next year... SPAC and Rev hall have some great concerts, but no festivals(admittedly living in the northeast for most of my life I have gone to Tanglewood for some old people concerts)and agreed Bonnaroo is just not the same... East Coast needs to catch up... okay enough wallowing...

Scoop neck is very flattering on you and I love the headscarf- cute outfit!

  5. super cute! I love the sunglasses ^,^
and as for coachella, you're not missing out, I've gotten to go mostly every year since high school, and it seems to be getting worst every year with the techno and metal tents and not so indie bands anymore :( .... have you heard of outside lands in san fran? that ones supposed to be good ^,^

  6. Old people concerts kind of seem more fun than Coachella! Will you come up with an outfit for old people concert-going?

Well I love this outfit .. . . I love how you can take the simplest of outfits and always make them so interesting and good!

  7. Bonnaroo happens about 40 miles south of where I live. Come on down! This is perfect fesitval attire; especially since you can usually count on Bonnaroo being typically in 90-100 degree heat.

  10. I love old people concerts, watching a bunch of 50 something people getting down is always a great laugh. I like your choice of all black, very rock and roll.

  12. I love this! The sleeves and neckline of that top just make this outfit perfect. I'd love to see a close up of those shoes too, they look pretty rad.

  13. aww... i really like this outfit. for me comfort and ease are important factors of style. :) also, i don't really know of any festivals in the north east but we have lollapalooza here in Chicago... :)

  14. what a great festival look! i'm around a lot of festivals, but sadly, cannot afford to go to any of them... and personally, i'd rather go to smaller (old-people?) shows. there is a free music festival in san francisco i go to every year (hardly strictly bluegrass festival)... that's what i would call old-people festival, because it's what i grew up listening to with the parents, but now i love bluegrass!
