Sporty Spice

...Well technically Ginger Spice was my favorite, but I definitely went the athletic route in the way I dressed today. I got this Norma Kamali for Wal-mart sweatshirt dress on the clearance rack for $7 and they had a bunch of other cute things for really cheap too. I really should not have bought it, but it looked so comfortable and perfect for a rainy, lazy day that I could not resist. My main intention of the Wal-mart run was to buy slip resistant shoes for work and may I add, what up with them all looking like geriatric shoes??? I laid down $23 for the ugliest shoes ever. Lame.

Speaking of shoes, I'm wearing my chucks today. I used to wear them all the time with basically everything and decided that they were looking neglected and sad in my closet and I should dust them off for my sporty/athletic look today. I almost wore tube socks too and as I am writing this I regret not doing so.

I took pictures at the baseball fields to showcase my sporty look and it was all drizzly and gray, but that in my opinion makes for the best pictures.

  4. Ginger was my favorite too! Most of the girls were baby spice or posh spice fans but it was ginger all the way for me.

  8. Your dress looks so incredibly comfortable.

My poor chucks have holes in the soles and toes at this point. I know I need to replace them, but they've seriously molded to my feet at this point. Sigh.
